Technical Data Sheet
A high gloss, twin pack polyurethane finish for marine and industrial environments. Offers excellent durability and colour retention.
For interior and exterior surfaces requiring a tough, long-lasting protection. Designed for maintenance and repair in terrestrial and marine environments.
Proper care and attention to the preparation of the surface will add life to the appearance of the final finish. If the condition of the existing surface is suspect it should be stripped back to the original substrate. All surfaces should be dry, clean and free from loose flaking paint, rust, oil or any other surface contamination.
Apply in well ventilated areas. Do not apply in wet or damp conditions. Do not apply over alkyd enamels. Limited Pot Life – Do not mix more than the volume to be used within 6 hours.
Application by spray, brush or roller after mixing with curing agent. Thin with 2K thinners for spraying. Thin to 16 – 18 seconds Ford Cup 4 for conventional spraying. Mix base and catalyst first, before adding thinners.
Airless spray – nozzle pressure 120 – 180 bars. Nozzle size 0348 – 0.58mm. Spray angle 40 – 80 degrees. Volume thinner – maximum 3%. Clean up with 2K thinners.
