An acrylic PVA especially formulated for ceilings. Suitable for application to a variety of decorative surfaces including plaster, concrete, brickwork, composition boarding, wood and metal surfaces that have been correctly prepared, primed and undercoated. Can also be used as a medium quality finish on interior walls.
Combines good durability with good opacity. Heavy bodied for good roller application. Matt finish hides imperfections. Quick drying. Low odour. Non-yellowing. Clean up with water.
Loose flaking paint and efflorescence must be completely removed.
All bare exposed metal areas must be spot primed with the appropriate primer and undercoat. Chalky surfaces must be thoroughly sanded before applying Dekade Surface Conditioner.
NEW CONCRETE/CEMENT PLASTER: Apply Ceiling PVA directly.
NEW GYPSUM PLASTER: Apply 1 coat Surface Conditioner thinned 15% with Mineral Turps.
NEW CEILING BOARDS: Patch prime nail heads with appropriate primer.
Apply Ceiling PVA directly to boards.
Do not apply during cold, wet conditions.
Do not apply directly to unprimed metal surfaces.
Stir thoroughly with flat paddle before use. Ready for use by brush or roller. Thinning is not normally necessary. Clean up with water.
